Do I need to be in shape for this retreat? You may have noticed we will have lots of opportunity for physical activity on this retreat. For any travel out of the country, it is recommended that you be in fairly good health. But all of the activities will be optional and some activities, such as the yoga, can be accommodated to all fitness levels.
How is the retreat space set up? Will there be non-retreat guests on the property? We will have this beautiful property all to ourselves! El Cerro has three houses on the property, all about a 3 minute walk from each other. The “Main House” is centrally located on the property and has 4 bedrooms. The Rock House is up the hill from the Main House and has 3 bedrooms. The Pool House is down the hill from the Main House and is where your hosts will stay.
Can special diets/allergies be accommodated? Yes, the chef that is preparing our food can make alternative options for those with special dietary needs. You will be asked about special dietary needs prior to the retreat.
What is Spiritual Direction? It is space to slow down and hear your soul speak. A place to notice God in and around you. A spiritual director serves as a companion on your journey. They listen and ask questions to help you notice what is already inside you. You will have the opportunity to choose one personal session for the week (life coaching or spiritual direction), maybe you’ll decide to meet with Jaime or Melissa for Spiritual Direction!
