Creativity Beyond Fear: A First Day of Spring Art Workshop

Let your creativity begin to bud with the season of spring as we explore the art of nature drawing with the help of practices that will move us beyond our fear.

Hope Anew's coach, Jamie Morley, will draw from Elizabeth Gilbert's book, Big Magic, to guide us through some key principles for people who are ready to stop letting fear hinder their creativity. Local artist, Michelle Boerio, will teach us the art of nature drawing. We will give ourselves permission to draw without the pressure of a final product. Released to simply create, we will experience the delight of drawing.

You will walk away with tools to help you continue to move beyond fear so that you can fully appreciate your own creativity. You will have some new drawing techniques in your pocket, too!

This workshop will be at Third Way Cafe, on the westside of Columbus. The cost to register is $35 and includes supplies and your drink of choice! Register here by March 13th! Spots are limited.

Women of Worth: Reclaiming Your Sacred Self

Women of Worth: Reclaiming Your Sacred Self

Have you lost touch with your Sacred Self- the core truth of who you really are? Has your inner life been neglected for years? It is easy to do while rocking your career, mothering young children or caring for an ailing loved one.

This 6-part workshop series will help you reconnect with your whole self- mind, body, soul- while also supporting other women doing the same. We will give ourselves the gift of time and space to practice the art of belonging- one to another.

Our partners and guides in this time of exploration of the Sacred Self will be horses, the natural world, mindfulness, art, music, creative writing, meditation, and of course, the community we build with each other.

We will begin our journey together on Saturday, January 25th from 10-12 pm by embracing the beauty and slowness of the winter season. We will continue to meet every other Saturday (2/8, 2/22, 3/7, 3/21) until spring arrives. We will emerge with spring and will celebrate our Sacred Selves with a 3-hour day retreat from 10 am-1 pm on Saturday, April 25.

Grounded in the art of belonging during these three months, we will plant, cultivate and tend to the seeds of growth and healing of your Sacred Self. As you step out of your comfort zone and into this refreshing new experience of discovering your Sacred Self in the community of soul friends you will become more rooted in who you are and how you want to show up in the world.

Your Sacred Self investment to register for the entire Women of Worth series is just $499 (use the code EARLYBIRD) before 12/21/19 and $549 after 12/21/19. Space is limited.

Update: Payment plan now available! $149 to register by 12/31 and $100/month for the duration of series (Jan-April). If you sign up on or after Jan 1, it will be $249 to register and $100 a month (Feb-April). Follow the link to access the payment plan option.

Registration closes the end of the day on January 17th.

About Your Hosts:
